Saratoga to Napa to Redding

Sooooo beautiful here!  On this leg of the tour it seems that all we do is drive for hours, eat, drive some more, eat, do a little show, eat, drive, eat….  But, other than the weight gain, we’re loving every minute of it because it’s stunning everywhere we go.  The theatre in Saratoga was gorgeous and set right in the middle of paradise.  Lovely crew, fabulous audience.  Napa was equally beautiful and the people equally, well, fabulous.  We had to hold off with the “flights” (three 2oz glasses of wine for tasting purposes) until after the show…but still managed a quick peek at some vineyards.  We then headed north again, but inland to Redding.  We came upon a huge Art Deco theatre, and a crowd that every show should have to end the west coast leg of it’s tour.  They were loud and boisterous and wonderful from the moment the lights came up to the final bow…what energy, we loved every second of it.  Thank you California, that felt suspiciously like a great vacation.  (Kathy)
