Ok, it’s official:  Women Fully Clothed’s Best Restaurant of Any Tour in Any Country on Any Planet award goes to…Re Bar in Victoria.  We remembered the breakfast we had here 4 years ago, killer oatmeal and egg dishes, and returned for lunch when we hit Victoria today.  What can I say?  Healthy, fresh, brilliant, utterly delicious food and drink.  Heavy on the vegetarian side, it’s the most satisfying, life affirming meal we’ve had!  I guess I shouldn’t have said it’s official, because we still have a few cities to go, and one with a restaurant we also love, and lord knows we’ve eaten in hundreds of exquisite restaurants, but for now I simply have to promote this tiny, humble, wonderful corner spot.  Please drop by if you’re in Victoria.  I won’t go into detail about the quinoa and spicy peanut sauce and tofu with…’cause I know I’ll scare people away.  Let me just end with the salted caramel chocolate ganache tart and tell you that it was even better than it sounds and leave it at that.  Divine.  (Kathy)
